Anyone Ever...

Anyone ever break their speedo gears? Mine just broke off right at the head on the driven gear. I forgot to get pics though...

Just kinda pisses me off though because I have just had too many problems with getting the speedo to work and read correctly. And of coarse it had to happen midway through my little road trip earlier today to URI.

Not too terribly uncommon I dont think. They are only plastic in there and it wouldnt surprise me to see one stripped out. I have had the cable twisted and frayed to no end really bad. But a quick cable change and I was good to go. Just swap out to a new gear, really quick and easy, only one bolt...
