You might be interested in making a cheap little test bar thing like I did. My truck seriously drives like new with it in place. Although I think the conclusion of the test was that I need all new sway bar bushingsand new front sSprings.
Mine actually drives good.
Just a slight bit of slop in the XJ shaft that i'm trying to get rid of. Besides that, everything is tight.
When you separate the 2 halves of the XJ shaft, there are 2 plastic bushings on the shaft. I tossed them, to make mine slide easier and make it easier to install.
