I'm trying to build one myself and am having trouble trying to match the opening for my thottle body to a standard elbow fitting. Anyone got pics of a custom snorkel set up??? Or better yet, do ya'll know of anyone who makes 'em for a T/B setup?

Probaly easier to use a necked down rubber fitting from a plumbing supply....

All of the things you need are here: Snorkle

This thread has a very technical "how-to" to install your own snorkle on the cheap. Looks very professional and only requires a Crock Pot.

Good luck with it. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I have seen a pretty sweet setup I thought about for a while. The guy had completely cut off his top over the cab to keep the cab open for circulation, and he had already ripped out his a/c, heater, fan and everything. And he got a setup sort of like that crock pot, but instead he ran a pvc tube straight to the hole where the blower motor goes for the a/c system, and between then little lip and the pvc, he put one of those heavy wax rings you put around the base of a toilet bowl(new ofcourse) And from the inside of the cab just plummed it to the a/c ducts he wanted the air to come from and put some light filters by the firewall and some heavier filters a few inches inside the a/c ducts. And he told me a while back that the wax ring has kept it bone dry for a few years now. It was a pretty slick setup. Good luck with what you decide

On eBay, there used to be a guy that sold "cold air intakes" that used the standard 5 1/8" hole but had a remote filter. They were about $45 shipped.

Just an idea.

Not sure how well this will work on a TB, but this is how we did it on our Carb.
