Going to BB? I want to go but don't know about towing solo for 3 days. I'd like to find someone thats hauling with a semi and an open spot.
Typically the farthest east anyone is coming from is the midwest, Iowa Missouri type East.
Catch a plane and ride with someone, much cheaper up front.
I know somebody that will have an open seat.
You coming this year?
Planning on it, probably my best chance, there is a good chance we will be moving this time next year.
I guess your three years is about up Huh
Thanks for being the guy that moves every three years so I can do things like race KOH.![]()

So its 4000k miles round trip (4 days driving) ~1K in fuel
or
$500 to $700 for a plane ticket, then rental car or arrange to have someone pick me up. So same money to watch.
I just need to find a co-pilot.

Your buddy Jay loves cross country trips.![]()

What are you towing with?
At 10 MPG with my Duramax and 4.00 per gallon I get $1,600 for fuel? Thats more than 4 days worth of driving. Having done some serious towing trips I would count on 850 or so miles per day coming out.
I can get better than 10 mpg with slowing down a bit but that is probably counter acted by the fact that I used 4.00/G for diesel. It's really 4.30 or so here right now.

Then less for the first day heading back as you'll be tired and worn out.
Check Flights into, Salt Lake City, Grand Junction Colo, Eagle Colo, and even Denver. There's people coming from all of those directions.
I'm glad I have a 5.9 Dodge. I get no less than 17-18mpg loaded![]()
