I've never seen one of those, I'd hope with that many pages it would be all-inclusive, to include the wiring part numbers. I know there were manuals that deal solely with the sheetmetal assembly, but with that many pages, I can't believe it's all just sheetmetal.

As to the price, how did you figure that out? With the US Postal Service, assuming they will ship to Germany (never checked myself) they have a "media mail" rate, which is MUCH less than other rates. That type of item would certainly qualify for that. www.usps.com and you can calculate how much (roughly, if you don't know the weight) it SHOULD cost via media mail.

If you do end up with something like this manual, and it seems the seller is jerking you around on shipping, PM me, and we'll see if we can't get the cost down. Have them ship it to me, I ship it out, etc. $30 seems really bad to me.

Maybe it's just me but that stepside drawing on the cover looks like a '73-'80 truck with the taller front fenders. Just makes me wonder how legit the claims are that that's actual GM factory literature. Hmmm... :thinking:

@Craig:
well let's see, I bought it, if it isn't the right one, I'll resell it at German/European ebay ;-)

@Dorian:
Thanks a lot for your help!
You were absolutely right, I checked USPS today and the actual shipping costs are 25 $ (insurance not included) But nothing to blame the seller - I checked my mailbox a couple minutes ago (as I won the ebay auction) and he sent me the invoice: 22$ (insurance included) I think that's OK. Unfortunately there is no way to calculate shipping rates for media mail online. So I assume that he sent it via media mail, otherwise I'd not know how he got 22$ for a insured 8 Pound Express Mail Flat Rate Envelope wicht normally costs 25 $.
Greetings

Flo

Well, glad you won the auction Flo!

It looks like there is no media mail rate to Germany, I just checked, sure enough, media mail disappears when you go international. :(

Oh well, if it's what you need, it will be worth it!
