I was wondering if anyone has plans for 14 bolt disc brake brackets. I have access to a lazer that will cut metal. Plans in either CAD or just something with dimensions would be great. Any anyone help? Thanks!

Well I got some designs. I have a couple of questions. First off the holes for where the calipers mount needs to be 7/16 right?
But the hole on the bracket doesn't need to be threaded does it?
How thick is the spacer on most designs? The design I got says to use 80-90 ford rotors and 72-76 2WD chevy calipers, will this bracket work with the K20 rotors and calipers? Any help is appriciated. Thanks!

I saw them on eBay a while back but haven't seen them in a while. Search for " 14 bolt ".

does your email accept images?

The hole needs to be threaded that is what holds the caliper on, as far as the type of caliper the 1/2 and 3/4 tons are all the same even for vans from 73 to 91.

I have heard that if you use the Ford rotors, the center hole must be machined out slightly larger to fit the bearing hub.

I have also heard the Ford rotors sit at a different depth than the Chevy rotors, hence the need for the spacers to protrude the bracket out to the proper working space.

Just not sure exactly if the Ford rotors require any spacers or not.

If I were you, I would make the spacers and use the GM rotors. Easier when you need to get the parts and not have to try to "remember" to get the parts from a Ford. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

I bought a set of those $20 CAD drawings on ebay, and don't have access to a lazer cutter. Figured I would find someone who did eventually. Want to do some horse tradin? Ooops, just re-read your original post, I see you got your plans. I gotta check the site more often.
