anyone have a D60 Yukon Grizzly?

Well ive have searched and havent really come up with much on the Yukon Grizzly for a D60 for reviews/long term use reports.

Ive have blown my lockright up(worn out carrier) and am looking at a Grizzly to replace it.

I already have a grizzly in the 14 bolt, but most of you know they arent exactly the same.

Just wondering if anyone has some input on the yukon piece? Or if I should just get a detroit

The grizzly and detroit are very similar pieces, yukon claims that the grizzly won't break if you break a shaft or hub, which the detroit will do ( in my case twice)

They have a cut on the side gear teeth that is supposed to lock the peices together better so when they are shock loaded they don't shear off, they are also supposed to be made of a higher quality steel than the detroit is.

The designs are very similar and since I have had recent issues with a detroit I would have to lean towards the grizzly.

As far as long term goes its a beefy piece I wouldn't worry about long term with a grizzly

i sheered the teeth off in my 14bff detroit as well.im gona try the grizzly next.seems to be a lil stronger inthe design.

Cool beans, Ive only had the grizzly in my 14 bolt for a month and am pretty satisfied. Just wanted to see if anyone had anything to add about the d60 one, guess Ill have to order one up

I am using Yukon in my D60. No problems so far. Great warranty to. Pay a tad extra for lifetime replacement. Made sense to me. If my detroit ever goes I may replace it with a Yukon. Detroit is in the 70HD.
