Anyone have a push bar on there k10 or K5?

Yes, i was at the junkyard and found one on a 79 or 78 k10. It was bolted through 2 holes on the front of the frame. One is howled out and the other is a regular hole. The regular hole lines up with the push bar wile the other one does not. Anyone have pics of what they did to get it to fit? Thank you. Iam thinking i might have to drill another hole in the push bar to line up to the 2nd hole in the frame.

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't drill another hole in the push bar and bolt it up.

The frame "horns" where the bumper brackets attatch changed slightly in the 81 to 87 trucks--so if your mounting a pre-1980 push bar,you'll have to drill another hole,or make up a plate to allow it to bolt to the frame rail..no biggie really..it'll work,just use 1/4" or thicker steel if you need to make a bracket,so it will be beefy enough ...
