I've done countless research trying to figure out what the paint color/code this is but I have come up with nothing. I cannot find it any of the older truck brochures from 69-91.

If anyone has an idea or could point me in the right direction that would be awesome.

Thanks in advance

I do not know the code.but I believe its called "Ochre",the spelling is probably wrong..Ochre K5.jpg
Edit--spelling is correct !..

BTW, if your wheels are 16.5x9.75, I need one. I have three and missing one. :deal:

The top post looks like some sort of tan. The second post more mustard (ochre sounds right). If I had mine to do over, I'd go with one of those "ugly" drab factory colors. My wife encouraged me to go with the bright yellow... I can't help with your question though.

I kinda hate to do this to you, but it looks a lot like the paint color Chief Brody came up with for the Jaws blazer.
If it is, then its a good news/bad news situation.

The good news, is that the color name is in this thread......

The bad news, is that its in that thread......

The thread is huge. It all started when the Chief asked if Rust Bullet was any good.
344 pages, over 6800 posts.

Here is a link to some finished pictures.

That will not help you with the paint color, but you can maybe see if it looks like the right one. It was hard to identify, took the Chief a while.

The full vert color looks like GM Sedona Tan can't remember the code

That's one hell of a thread, I sent chief a message regarding the paint color. Thanks again

Yes, my 1978 BLAZER paint is called Buckskin, code 65. Looks like the same color

A lot of mid-80,s GM trucks came in that Tan color. My 1985 K30 single cab dually is that color.

Looks like a '75 blazer (based on the fender emblem) and it looks closer to the buckskin color than the gold color. It looks more tan than yellow/gold.

Lighting does real tricks on this color. Look at his interior photos
