Anyone have an interchange guide for DANA 44 ????

A colleague here at work bought a set of knuckles for a Dana 44 from an eBay auction.... it turns out they didn't fit his application (It's an old Scout, I believe)....

Anyway, he managed to locate the correct knuckles for his project but now he has a set of knuckles that he'd like to re-list on eBay (or wherever) but isn't sure what they were built for.

I have one of the knuckles here in my cubicle, and they have two seperate casting numbers:

L
038535 (On the outer side of the knuckle near the tie rod attachment point)

&

5177 (On the inside of the knuckle also near the tie rod attachment point)




Can anyone cross-reference these to a specific DANA-44 application, or model years??? I'd like to help this guy out.... he may not be a "Chevy Guy" but at least he's got a SFA!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I would just start with a local forsale add and whoever responds can compare what they have and make or brake the sale...
Not sure if DanaSpicer has such a referance guide??
