Anyone have any slick ideas to make vacuum lines look nice and tidy?

Going to redo all my lines, they are all basically piled up on the pass. side of the motor, other than the PCV. anyway to make em look nice. Seems ive got a few T fittings, etc.

Of course pics help. :)

hahahahaha
it was 5 seconds ago I read you were re-doing all of them.

Orielly has been good for T fittings. Also Osh Hardware had a couple larger ones that worked for my crank case breather fitting to HAT connection.

Does the core support have your routing on it? I just followed that.

That routing is with emissions and the org. Q jet carb, neither of which I have. Ill just keep the existing routing

Look at import stuff, different colored lines nice fittings, nice dividers.

Well, i just tucked the lines as best out of sight. I picked up some Blue Silicone vacuum lines and installed them. Looks good and works good, nice and snug.

You could put a 6.2 with a J code intake in it,then all you'd have for vacuum lines is one for the A/C controls, and another for the tranny modulator if its an automatic coming from the vacuum pump!..:D

Yeah, I was going to say that the best move I made for cleaning up vacuum lines was swapping to fuel injection. People who claim that ECMs are "too complicated" have obviously never torn down a late model Quadrajet or looked under the hood of a mid 80's truck.

I think the best way to set up vacuum lines is with the hard plastic lines and rubber fittings on the ends. With a heat gun you can easily bend that stuff to the routing you want. Then whenever you disconnect a line, it's obvious where it goes back. The hard lines have thinner walls, so they take up less room and routing stays nice and neat.
