I will post some pics of mine tonite for you. Mine, however, are not custom. They are made by smittybilt. Of course, got them over 8 years ago. I don't know if they still make them. wOrk great for me because they sit higher then the factory bumper (cover gap from body lift), have a nice little diamond aluminum "platform" and my frame-mounted reciver hitch sits snuggly below it all.

Hey Laketex

How do you pin the receiver in that hitch? Can't seem to find a pin hole. And how did you fab the rings on there (what meterials and such) ?

The recievers are mounted flush so I could use the stock pin holes. I just welded the outside support ring solid to the tube and fit it in there. Hole stayed the same when put through the 4x2 tube only it's on the backside. Got them at:

As for the shakles, I bought those...i've found some things are cheaper to have someone else make. They were only a couple dollars each and I got them through buyers hardware...I cant seem to find a web address for that though.

Here's mine. http://community.webshots.com/album/25499947XxjDjyPxVb. It's 2x4 3/16" wall box tube along the back and wrapped around the side. Dirt simple and has suported the weight of the truck without flexing at all. The receiver is welded into the tubing so it doesn't hang down below the bumper at all.

Here's mine. I've got a 4" lift and from the bottom of the bumper to the ground is a little over 36" and I do have a reciever hitch on it.

and the tire carrier (which I'm doing a little modification to)

the carrier on the truck:

I didn't box the one end of the bumper that the carrier swings on and had problems with it. Once I box that end up, it'll be strong. The other day I was yanking a tractor out and taking a running start at it before I hit the end of the rope and the bumper's fine. Scratched some paint off though.

The tubing is 4x4 square tubing.

I'll cast my link in here also. I just finished the tire carrier and got it mounted - it fits perfectly!!!

Pics to follow tomorrow. I need to make 7 more pieces to finished it. It is big and bad - next is the 4" lift.
