yeah,it's tight.i'll check again just cuz.I think mine did that, but I had extra leaves in them. Shouldn't do it regardless. Centerpin tight?? That would be the main cause....
the last time this happened to me was in 86. i broke the springs on my truck trying to carry 3000 lbs.
well tommorow is {find out why i have running lights but no brake lite day} so i think i will re tighten them.My factory rear ones did that . I just whacked em and retorqued everything to be sure .
it's getting too cold for this Paul.someone else asked me that. i got them from 4wheelparts,and no one seems to know.the front BDS springs have them.should those have spring clamps?

let's see. When was the last time you retorqued your U bolts? With a lift you should do it once a year.
when i re installed them.i got 1/2 inch bolts when i first put them on.IDIOT.when i got the 9/16s we cranked them down good i tell ya.BUT,i know how that works.that seems to be the way to go.the bashin and torquing shall happen tommorow.thanks brothers. My front springs did that on drivers side. They were ROUGH COUntry Springs. Jus wacked them with BFH and retorqued.

Spring clamps should still help shouldn't they? Any reason not to put a set on?
the "bash and torque' method fixed it brothers.i thought about adding a few clamps, but i know me. i won't see that spring move and i'll forget to re tighten the bolts.Crappy design. I know two guys with Skyjacker springs on their Toyotas that have had the same thing happen. Short of fixing it with an extra set of clamps closer to the mount you're pretty much left with the "bash and torque" method.

i wish i woulda got the BDS springs.maybe ol ST. DARYL will get me a set for Christmas.all in all it's better than blocks.
i shoulda known the BFH is our best friend.mine did that in the front rought country. i just hammered and retorqued
