I sure would like to see how that looks compared to a 6" lift.
I am having a hard time deciding on a 4 or 6 with 35's on my 82 GMC.

THANKS ALL :thumb:

heres mine

heres my 87 4inch rough country lift, 35/1250 r15 bfg mts

if you've got 35's and wheel, and don't want to cut some of your truck, go with the 6". I have 4" with 33's and I still get rubbing.

yep

Hes right, I got some rubbing with the 33s, with some fender trimming you can eliminate 90% of the rubbing with the 35s.

heres mine with pro comp 4" springs and 35's

sorry about the big pic. dont have time to make it small now. i had to do some trimming with the 35's. if i was turning and hit a bump at the same time, it was brutal

I don't plan on wheelin, just beach driving and almost no offroading.
I want the best look for my truck. thanks again,

if you run 8" rims w/ 4.25 backspacing and dont do any wheeling you should be able to fit 35's under a 4" lift without cutting the fenders. i think 6" makes the 35's seem small. heres mine 35's w/ 3" lift on 8" wheels. fenders trimmed for wheeling. sorry the pic is a monster, dont have a picture editing program on this computer.

The image tags look like this

Go 6" if you are not going to do a rear spring swap or anything like that. You will regret NOT doing it. Another alternative is to go with a 4" lift spring (softer ride/more flex than a 6"), install a 1" zero rate and extended shackles. That will net you 5.5" of lift in the front. that should be plenty to clear 35's w/ moderate wheeling. Also, to help clear them w/out rubbing, consider running a 8" wheel verses a 10" wheel. It makes a HUGE difference on how it stuffs up in the wheel well.
