Anyone have trouble with a new poly tank?

In a 1970 k5 4x4 blazer

The one i have has a straight filler on it and it dumps right into the drivers rear body mount and there is no way to even get a filler hose on it? I have an old orignal tank,i may just put it back in. I can get pics soon

If you do a bit of searching, I had a thread on what I did. I think the replacement metal tanks are better. If you want to keep the poly tank, you need to bend or cut off part of the filler neck so it aims the right way, or a 1" body lift should also open up enough room to get a hose on there.
