Anyone heard of an SUV called a \"Grizzly\"?

It's supposed to be from Canada. It's bigger than a Ford Excursion. I couldn't find it with Google.

A Grizzly was a truck company , custom built drive train to order. (gas , diesel 4X4 etc.)
IIRC it was mainly for industrial type customers (oil rig , pipe line work , etc). I even remember it being offered with 10 GA body panels /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif,but i can't remember what truck they used for a base , or if it was their own??
BTW this was around the end of the 80'S , I don't recalll seeing anything about them since (out of business?? , very expensive??)
Or where it was , possibly British Columbia
Thats all I can remember about them.
Mabey someone else knows more?

local company made them
they are really cool
cummins
air suspension
look like an old Kenworth
made pickup versions and suburban type
I think the guy was a boat builder
I havent seen one in a few years
they are extremely solid truck

Ywah a guy in my town has one, they HUGE, and they look likel a small semi. Cummins turbo diesel, and all the other goodies. They look like an old military truck.

I cant remember what they were using as a base. They're Canadian I believe.

I didn't see it, my roommate saw it it Scottsdale, AZ. He said it was an suv that was bigger than a Hummer. I thought I remembered seeing something in a magazine about them, and there was a TV commercial for some other product(insurance I think) where this guy is bragging about it being the biggest suv there is and he ends up trashing his garage because it doesn't fit. I'm not sure that it's the same thing, but I was hoping someone might know about a web site.

I am a little disapointed by the slew of attacks from people. This used to be a much friendlier place to hang out. I think the "old timers" know what I'm saying. It's not that I can't take the heat, I just think that the whole stream of people jumping on the "Bash the Stoner" train is just lame. Oh what a foolish proppaganda beliving bunch of SHEEP /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif. I'm not even the first target for these train jumping bashers having fun at the expense of others that I've noticed since I've been back. It's kinda sad to see this kind of thing happen to what was a friendly place. I did want to say thank's to those with something usefull to say /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif.

O yeh I remember that commercial, but it seems like it was a mercedes g500 in the commercial, atleast that is what it looked like.
