I need a few pictures of some things on a 89 k1500 4wd drive truck. Is there any member's here who actually own one?

Don't own one, but I see them around here all the time. Maybe I could grab a pic for you. What do you need a pic of.

Thank you Chris I could use picture of transmission lines coming off radiator to where the disappear under the front diff. Do not know if they go over or under bar that is welded to frame.
Then on pass side at where engine and transmission meet there is metal bracket over the harness not sure where it goes exactly. Know this one has a tab broken off.

Lay out of brackets for fuel braided line coming up transmission to back side of engine.

And last would be a picture of wiring layout on driver side of transmission/transfer case.

Truck I am working on for a friend has had boat load of monkeys working on it. Thank you for offering to help me out!

Hope pictures help. Just trying to make this young friend of mine truck right finally for him.

The metal tube in the second pic looks like its upside down. I believe it is to route the wires around exhaust manifold to the starter. It normally bolts to the bellhousing.

The other pics you need I'll call some friends and see what I can do.

OK thank you! I thought it went to bell house bolt on upper part correct as in closer to cylinder head?

I used to have a 91 c3500 and it bolted there. Same as a 75 nova I just did.

don't think my K5 has it but know wiring and all at back on it is super neat and tidy. Maybe I should double check!

Chris you where dead on with the metal bracket for starter wires. I twisted it around and bolt the one tab that was there (other was broken off). Thanks man.

Oh I did check my K5 and it's there just so clean looking and evrything is so much better placed on my rig.

I can take some pics tonight, I just got the heads back on mine so it's partially tore down currently.

This is what you need right?

#1 I could use picture of transmission lines coming off radiator to where the disappear under the front diff. Do not know if they go over or under bar that is welded to frame.

#2 pass side at where engine and transmission meet there is metal bracket over the harness not sure where it goes exactly. Know this one has a tab broken off.

#3 Lay out of brackets for fuel braided line coming up transmission to back side of engine.

#4 And last would be a picture of wiring layout on driver side of transmission/transfer case.

For #2, I think you're talking about the bracket that bolts to the back of the head (uses a stud) that suspends the harness over the passenger side valve cover. There is a ground (or maybe two) that bolts to the stud as well, mine is off right now but I'll bolting that up tonight.

#2 is taken care of props to Chris on that. Rest are still up in the air. I know my fuel lines are different from my buddy's as his come off driver side. Ground locations would be nice got 2 so far figured all else fails block to frame! What is killing me right now are those transmission lines in first pic making sure there ran right and then last rat's nest of wiring, it's plugged up but just laying there and want to clean it up nicely.

Any pics you can share would be great Skunked!

Can I get a better picture of those transmission lines? Kinda hard to see area I need and does your model have that brace like mine shows?
Fuel lines will be different for your since you have a Vortec engine there and his is TBI.

I can not remember but those intake where fun back in day paid well at dealer. Are you replace the nipple on intake where coolant hose goes in if so do it before you bolt it up, way easier then if crappy metal GM uses breaks and you have to bust it out with it on the truck.

Got a pic of the trans lines from a 2wd, it's a 4.3 but should be the same.....

They run right alongside the oil pan rail. Held there with those metal clips.

his were to screwed up in the end so he ordered a set from advance adapters waiting for them to come so we can install pout transmission fluid in and finally crank his truck up and set timing check all fluids and break new motor in the got from Jegs (Gm crate 350).
