anyone know anything about these MONSTER axles?

a buddy of mine just picked these big bastages up the other day.

theyre these big ass loader axles manufactured by rockwell. theyre yellow and full hydro.

i swear ive seen somebody here with these under a rig. i just dont know what to call these to search for em. can any of yall point me in the right direction?

thanks! the kid with these axles now sheared the output shaft of his sm465. he needs the beef.

if he breaks these hes gonna hand over the keys and get a prius.

if you are building a Mega Truck those size axles are the only way to go....unless your going to spend alot of money on 2.5's or working with 5 tons.....

2" shaft is aftermarket 2.5ton size.... hmmmm

out board planetaries allow you to run a proportionally smaller axle shaft to if there wasn't a planetary. the planetary gearset absorbs all the shockload and abuse saving everything upstream of it.

those might be rated 20 ton or more. 2" shaft is doing pretty good.

those look like the ones under a monster truck a guy used to run here local.... he said they are some experimental axles he had that the military ran them in some tank recovery truck..... but i only repeating what he said

an ak47 can even pierce the outer shell...its mostly made of 1/4 inch steel
