I may need to ship some axles across this wonderful country. Anyone know the weight of a 10-bolt axle (front and rear)? Even a rough ballpark figure would be helpful at this point.

Buehler? Buehler?

Rear I would hafta say 250-300 pounds at most. Two guys can pick one up pretty easily. No idea on front, maybe 75 pounds more.

Withoug brake drums it's about 150 max. I can move a 12 bolt around without busting a nut.
Front is probably closer to 225 with rotors and full. two can handle them but it's a little more then I try to lift in one shot.

I stand corrected. Sure feel a whole lot heavier, especially after a 12 pack /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif
