Anyone know this member?

Like Thunder said, you have 45 days with Paypal to file a claim. It may not hurt to start one to get you foot in the door. At first it starts out as you and the buyer emailing/posting through Paypal and does not affect their status.. But it will pull the funds out of their account... And the the claim can be removed by you at anytime.

Also, I have foudn that USPS tracking numbers usually suck ass and dont work. At least online. So it's best ot call your local postmaster. But even then, they are not like UPS where the package is scanned everynight..

And if they shipped the wheels with Parcel Post, be patient. I shipped a guy a steering box once via parcel post... Took 30 days to get there. I checked with my postmaster almost everyday. Their ompuers didn't show where it was at... And neither could the buyers postmaster... Finally it just showed up one day.. USPS could not give me a reason why i took so long....

The only confirmation worth a darn is Signature Confirmation. You can always pay and extra 7.00 for registered mail which is lock, key, and signature of handler at every transit point.

Maybe so, but this member has not even confirmed to me that he has resent the wheels out again. I have no clue if he even dropped them back off at USPS.

Dont crap your pants. You still have plenty of time to deal with the guy thru paypal.
Give it till the first part of next week. Let us know if you have heard anything from him or got your wheels. I am sure its just USPS taking their sweet time.
But
If he is trying to put the screw to you. It may be time for a little neck-tie party. Bout time we have a good cyberlynching. We haven't hung anyone high since Timmay. I'll even get a new rope.

I wouldn't go that far just yet. All I want is a confirmation that he did send them out. I need proof of some kind and a tracking number would do it for me.

This happened to me too. I shiped a set of DRW hubs to another member, and it took over two weeks to arrive. I was a little embarassed when it didnt arrive in a timely manner. Then I called USPS, and they gave me the runaround twice. I got a trackiong number too, and for weeks it said it had never left the place f origin. Then it showed up sometime later.

I guess thats fairly common with heavy oversized packages :doah:

The mail came today and nothing but pure junk mail. No big boxes or anything.

I'm so nervous right now. I'm thinking of PM'ing the member and telling him I want my money back. I don't think waiting this long is worth the hassle even with USPS.

What do you guys think? Tough it out and wait a little longer or just go ahead and get my money back? At this point, I could care less for the wheels.

Oh yeah, the Charlie Wenzel thread. I read that yesterday. That took forever read all those threads and posts.

WOW i just finished reading that. very entertaining. Wonder if he parents ever found out

You can request contact info from ebay/paypal resolution center to include name, address and phone number, only problem is that the guy you have a problem with gets your info too. I dealt with that over a $38 deal, and once you put a voice to your name with a phone call, things start to happen. I had my problem settled on day 43.

The pirate thread, although funny, ended up going a little over the top.
