Anyone know what this is?

Found it dangling towards the front of my transmission in the drivers side while working on some suspension stuff. Not sure if something I did knocked it lose (seems unlikely) or if it’s been lose.

What is it and where do I plug it back in?

Another “what is this” question. Found this laying on the driveway under the Jimmy. It’s small — about 1-1.5in long

edit — nevermind. I think it feel out of the inside of that split o2 sensor. Seems to fit perfectly in there

Looks like the part of the O2 sensor that goes in the pipe, you're correct

i think most of the obd1 o2 sensors have a slotted/twisted metal cage over the probe end, so we don't normally get a good look at it

oh cool i just saw the metal cage end - its still screwed into the manifold in the picture above
