Anyone know where I can buy drip rails?

I picked up an 84 k10 yesterday to fix up and probably sell, and the drip rails are missing. They were the screw on kind, the holes are still in the roof. I can't seem to find any being sold for the 73-87. They do sell them for 67-72. All I can find is the chrome molding that goes on them. Anybody have any insight on where I can buy a set? Or do any of you have an old set laying around?

It says those moldings can be used with trucks not originally equipped with drip rail moldings. As far as I know all the square bodies had drip rails.
 
And if you look at the little picture in the upper right it shows the molding retainer, drip rail molding, and the screws - all of which are listed with part numbers and description. Give them a call and see if it'll work. Not arguing but it seems to me like everything is there.

I don't want to start an arguement either, but all of that is for the chrome molding that attaches to the drip rails. I'm almost positive but I will call thm.
 
looks like someone shaved the drip rails off that truck and then added the kit to replace them. It probably took the first rain to figure out why they were there in the first place. After all the searching I can only find the Stainless kits for any truck after 72.
 
Not sure where the confusion is coming from on the LMC catalog. It clearly says the retainers need to be installed before the molding meaning the retainers are the actual drip rail...there's only two pieces to a drip rail, the retainer and the molding.
 
and them hex hed bolt/screws are TINY ........

if you try and remove the rails with chrome/stainless still on its tight and have to walk them out and lift up and remove them the rest of the way as the bolt/screws are a bit longer than the gap under the trim edge.

The drip rails on this truck are attached via screws. Someone took them off in preparation for paint I assume and never put them back on. Here is what it looks like now. I am going to buy a fender from a guy this weekend and I'm going to see if he has any. From what I have read, the rails on a pickup are attached via screw but blazer/suburban they are spot welded on.

My Blazer drip rail is not screwed on, part of the cab.

@Vombrown is parting out a Suburban right now. I don't think he sold the drip edges yet...
 
Pickup and Blazer drip rails are over the top of the door and follow around the back side. Suburban and crew cab just go over the top of the door.

This is how I've always seen it.
 
Damn. Never noticed that. So I will have to find some rails from a k10 then because blazer rails are spot welded on. I need the screw on type.
