I am starting on a project to put a V-8 in my S-10 blazer and instead of modifying more **** i jsut wanna lift it right away because its something i wanted to do eventually..
how much lift are you wanting to do? Suspension lifts for the s-10's are pretty pricy becasuse they are IFS, if you want a good amount of lift your best bet is to do a SFA conversion and convert to coil springs or leaf springs up front

I would like to get at least 6 inches worth of a suspension lift..i would like to be able to buy a lift that i could install on the truck without prior modifications..but how hard and what would it take to convert from ifs to sfa..and what exactly do those abreveations stand for?
IFS means independent front suspension. That is what is on the S-10 stock, it uses torsen bars and controal arms so each side can move independent from each other. SFA means soild front axle, this is what is stock in k-5's it consists of leaf springs and a axle.
