Anyone make bolt on body protection , like the jeepers have

Ive seen plenty of jeeps that have some thick gauge steel bolted to their rocker panels (no, not rock sliders) but jus some body protection. It covers the rockers and front and rear of the door. So, anything like that for K5s ? I realize that the side of the body,esp. near the rear tire isnt exactly FLAT like a jeepers is, but jus curious.

I didnt see anything on either one of those sites. Im not look for rock sliders, jus basic plate that goes on the body itself. It may not be easy to do due to the curves of the body ,etc. The jeeps are flat so it is alot easier. oh well.

Those plates may be to reinforce the body in that area mostly, as a friends Jeep buckled there......................

I think he is more talking about something like these. 1/4 plate to protect the body.




I have never seen anything like that for the k5. Would have been nice to have on mine.
