and springs to compliment rear disc conversions on 14 bolts?

They're more or less, non-existant up here (wreckers/used) and I noticed some companies are selling their disc kits with the Caddy setup.

Any recomendations on someone who makes them new and will sell them separate from a kit? I aready have the calipers mounted on my K5 but want to make use of my e-brake.

TIA

I don't know of anyone making those levers and springs...although I imagine someone could do a fair good business making those.

Why not use D44 calipers and plan for a driveline brake later? I've been running without an Ebrake for two and a half years now. Just hope you don't get a 'box 2' before the driveline brake...:)

I basically got my caddy calipers from car-part.com
Found em cheap... $12.95 each.. to my door was $48 total...

but one was bad.. didnt realize it as I just put them on and bought them A WHILE AGO!!! like from 5/26/2004!!!!

anyhow I know what you mean.. I basically bought 2 new ones from NAPA and used my old ones as cores... just kept my old springs and ebrake lever.. so $48 for ebrake lever and spring I thought was bad..but guess not.. they seem hard to find...

but this will show you some frustration about the caddy calipers.. so I needed one of the cores.. well a part of it...

I just gave Dynatrac a call. Their swap was featured in the April 05 issue of Four Wheeler. Apparently, they will sell the levers and springs separately - $20/$10 ea, respectively. So by the time they get to MY door, I'm probably looking at close to $100CAD, which is a tad pricey but at least I have that as an option.

Rootbreaker - Hope you can get those scratching/bleeding issues worked out cause wherever you are, I'm not far behind. Haven't checked car-part.com yet but outta curiosity, how'd you end up paying double the original price?
Was that mostly in shipping?

Rene - Give ya a call soon.

Thanks for the help guys.

yeah the box was heavy so they charged me $20 shipping

fliptuner...what was Dynatrac's phone number and website url?

I bought some used ones but one is bent and one spring is broken.

(714)596-4461 I talked to a guy named Shawn

IIRC, url is www.dynatrac.com

edit. Weird. No metion of it on their site. The write-up on the kit/install is on Pg.96 of Apr.05 Four Wheeler though.

I just called Dynatrac and spoke to Robert. They do not have the the springs or levels .... or maybe just did not want to tell me about them.
