Anyone Recognize this Winch Bumper

I recently picked up an 83 K20. It came with a Warn 8274 (which is always a bonus) and a winch bumper. I've done a bunch of poking around but can't really determine what the bumper is/who makes it. Curious if anyone knows?

Thanks

That is Engineered Vintage, I think they are a vendor here and maybe a Blazer Bash sponser but I'm not sure. The EV bumper is a replica of the old Warn bumper but you can tell EV vs original by the outboard corners, EV doesn't have a smooth radius / bend in the turn.

Yeah I think your right about it being a Warn, I can't find a good picture of the warn, atm. I think you'd have to source a Warn used, if that's what you had to have. EV is a member here and does support Blazer Bash.

I don't remember the warn bumpers having the stamped plate spot on the driver's side, weren't they on top, passenger side?

Yeah that’s different. I had a Warn bumper on a F150 waaaay back and it had a piece of aluminum angle for the tag, it screwed on to the top plate of the bumper “wing”.

Thanks for the input guys. I looked it over pretty good to see if I could see anything indicating a mfr. I'll take a closer look. I did talk to Ben at EV and he didn't think it was theirs. The corners on this one do seem to be radiused

I agree with cheavyk10, everyone used to make their own versions of the same basic bumper back in the day. I had 3 similar bumpers laying around 2 were genuine WARN bumpers, but yet looked entirely different. I restored one and put it on my K10, one went on Rob's K5 and the third is probably going on my K5. Engineered Vintage is the one to go with today for a classic look. Regardless of which one, they all need to be raised up above the body lip to look right and to prevent rubbing when twisting the truck around

Thanks again for the input guys. So this truck I bought actually came with a loose factory front bumper as well. After thinking about it for a long time I decided I'd like to go back to something closer to factory "look" on the front so this weekend I pulled the trigger on an Engineered Vintage behind the bumper winch mount kit. Anxious to get it and to get it installed.

Thanks for the order! :)

Sure thang! People here are probably tired of seeing this thing so I hold it back to just the drivers and passenger’s side :haha:. There are a million more in Instagram
