Anyone remove rear seat and make a divider?

I dont use my rear seat and have thought about yanking it. But I dont want my gear sliding or coming forward. anyone ever make a divider. I dont want to go ghetto like a tailgate but thought about a low cage or bars. I know SKIGIRL has some cool stuff in her K5 and have thought about going that way.

I put bed tie down rails in my truck to keep the gear secure. I don't want any of that stuff flying around if I should flop. I will do everything I can to prevent a flop, but just in case...

The tie downs will also keep the stuff secure when your rear seat is gone.

What about one of those dividers that are used to keep pets in the back of SUVs? Another idea would be to find an old work van that has a divider and cut it down to fit your blazer.

Watch for auctions that sell old police crap. All the old cars and SUV's have dividers. May be able to pick one up cheap.
