A large roll is expensive to buy, this guy sells it in pre-cut lengths. I bought some to put on my lower tube of my MTB to protect against rocks. I was wondering if anyone put this on their rockers to protect against rock chips on their street trucks.

They say it doesn't fade, but I have no experience with it in the elements.

I have a 3m product on the hood of my ATV. Not sure if it's the Scotchgard or not, but it's like a clear sticker and thick. I use it to protect the airbrush work. Hasn't yellowed and so far held up really good.

I work at a Volvo dealership, they sell it on some of the new cars, have been for years. The older ones I see come into the shop that had it done seem to look just fine. No peeling, yellowing, etc. Depending on how the car was cared for most of the time you can't even see the stuff unless you look for it.

My stepfather has it on his Subaru for a couple years, so far so good. He had it installed profesionally and you have to look for it to see it.

This stuff is going down the road soon. I have to move everything to Az. in May. It will not go with me.
