Well, I might just bolt my TH400 and Doubler up to my 4.3L since no one wants to buy the TH400 & Doubler. Anyone running a 4.3L in front of a TH400, just wondering how much power the TH400 is going to suck up from the 4.3L. The engine is a stock 1995 CMFI with 191hp & 260ft lbs.

If the vehicles pretty light , it may work out well . I am constantly amazed at Marvs 1.6 liter hamster wheel climbing the rocks with dual cases .

A 4.3L/TH400 is a gutless wonder :haha:

Some of the Chevy vans came like this. I don't recommend driving one. I also drove a stock K2500 4.3L/4L80E with 4.56s... it was better, but not great.

Maybe going wild on the gearing is the key. Stay off the highway though. :haha:

I'll be running 5.13's and 38" TSL's, so it should be able to move.:D

It should work.....

Won't be no speed demon, but that's apparently not what you're after anyway...

will this setup be going into a fullsize? i have been pondering this similar idea for a while now. keep us posted, please.:D

well hell, no problem then! those lil things hardly weigh anything... and the biggest engine they ever came with stock was a 4.0 right? 4.3 oughta be fine... especially with 5.13s and a doubler...

Pete, it will work fine. It should not be much different then a K5 with a 350.
