I've got a Holly on my truck right now that came off an old mustle car I believe its a 700 cfm, I put it on in an emergency when the Holly that was built for the engine took a big crap, it was only supposed to be a temporary deal, now 4 years later Im converting my truck into a buggy. I dont have the money right now for fuel injection, the propane guys says with my cam specs and all that I'll run out of flow, So lets hear it what are you BBC guys running and how does it do in an offroad only situation and why. Im pushing around 500 ponies.

do you run a lot at 5k rpm and up?

I've got an Edelbrock Q-Jet on my mildly built 454 and love it. I wouldn't trade it for anything unless someone gave me fuel injection.

Yeah I shift at around 6500. My truck will see 90% of its life in the sand.
sounds like you could use about 800cfm or so then. Have you thought about a predator?
