Just put the back Iroks on the K5 and realized my suspicions about my guess work fabbing were right. The rear sits about 2" higher than the front. Think I should bother with a zero rate up front? Maybe push the axle out a little bit too up front. My last K5 was raked and sometimes I liked it, others I thought it stupid but it was all a looks thing, and I really think this would be as well.

My vote would be level.

I think anytime a blazers sits lower, front or rear, it looks like it has wore out suspension.

Agreed, Blazers are too short for a sag or rake.

Mine sits up just so you can barely notice it with my trailbox and spares on board. Looks good, no saggy booty /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

I like it witht he " in heat " look. cause by the time you load it full of gear it level or even less.

thats the other thing, only thing in the bed is the fuel cell and its empty. So gear, full size spare, and cell full it will probably come down quite a bit.

I'd say try it for a season and see if you like. If not then make the change.

i prefer it to be higher over the rear axle verses the front, its easier to see over our "small" hoods that way.

I always like just a touch high in the tail. 2" might be too much. 1" is just right I think so throw some gear in there or a few of your pals and see what that does.

Mines not raked, but A-1 because I lifted the front more and havent leveled it out yet.
I prefer level. When you see a truck raked, it looks like its got a stick up its butt. Atleast when its A-1 it looks more like its launching. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

I'd say leave it. As stated by you and others, once you throw in tools, spares, gear, etc. it'll probably be about perfect. Plus, you've got built-in correction for the inevitable saggy-butt disease.

I think leveling a truck is one of the main benefits to lifting it in the first place.

Mine sits too tall in the back, and it pisses me off.

Mine was high in the back. Didn't bother me until someone else said something about it /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif...then I started to notice it /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif...Now it's level, and I like it /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Im opposite of you, mine sits ass end low. It does handle well in the desert but I drag the hitch on EVERYTHING, but I did raise it back up and inch or so the other night. Looks a little better, but it still needs to be higher.

not a chance. Roof will likely be gone before the weekend is over, just not sure about cutting that off yet.
