Anyone try the new BFG M/T KM3 on their Blazer/Jimmy? I’m liking the look of them. I’m currently running the KM2. Curious about the road noise of the new KM3 vs the KM2 mud tires. These trucks are almost like owning a B.O.A.T., (Break Out Another Thousand)!

I have sold a few sets so far. They are quieter than the KM2 from an in-vehicle noise level for sure. I am thinking about putting them on my 78 when I get it finished.

Any thoughts on noise levels vs. the AT KO's? I'm coming up on needing another set, and while the AT KO's have been working well for me, I'm thinking the KM3's might hold some advantage in fresh snow over the KO's/KO2's. Just not sure potential tradeoffs on-road (and in packed snow) would be worth any advantage they may have off-road in my application. Looking at the voids, I suspect not.

The A/T’s are actually better in snow, and feel/respond better on road. The only thing the muds are better than the A/T’s is, mud, and more aggressive looks. The last time I checked the specs/ratings on the BFG website the A/T scored better in every category except for mud. My truck felt a lot better with the A/T’s overall on road. Noise levels are about the same, not to bad on either. However I have not tried the KM3’s yet

They are louder. I don't think it's a crazy difference that would deter me from running them, but I think that if you live in an environment snow traction is a priority I would stick with the KO2.
