Don't go off the deep end and give up all hope of my generation! I want to buy a 72 chevelle with a 327 or a 383 stroker!! (Drool)!! Oh my god I want a muscle car! Not those gay rice burners!!! I want something that will smoke the local rice burning population with ease!! I am saving for a chevelle, as soon as I buy a dirt bike, lift the blazer, buy a quad, and pay for college!!

I am only 18 and have orange blood last year in school I had to hear them little rice boys talk about how bad ass there ricers are and they would not lessen to my when I told them that there is no way they can come near a BBC in HP or FLBs then they say witch one will last longer then I would tell them you get 1600Hp out of a 4 banger and we will see how long one last they still never lessen to me

damn I hate rice
but they would lesson to my sbc talking to them thru my strait pipes, they could not help it

I'm a v8 fan also.But i have a old Mopr Mustle mag.Where they built up a tubo II 4 banger from a daytona and had it in a colt or something like that.It made like 350 horses.Would spin the tires off the rim.But still don't sound right.You know what they say theres no replacement for displacement expect

I would say that is thankfully a small part of this generation. I know more people that hate rice burners than like them, we make fun of them all the time. Actually, I'm not friends with anyone who likes them, except my gf has a 5spd Sentra that has some of those Target wheelcovers and junk like that on it...but she's a girl so its OK...she still hates the Hondas. But one of my friends has a bad ass '69 442, and another one is buying a GTO tomorrow. I want to get an El Camino someday when I can afford to have a Blazer and something else...because the Blazer is here to stay

i haven't given up hope on you guys. actually it's not a generation thing. i think its cool to tweek whatever you got. i just think it's funny when they cut the springs and through on a new airfilter and call it performance. i keep trying to get my nephew to get a ported head and a cam for his so he can see some real performance gains. but he's saving up for a body kit and wants to get it painted.
actually i like imports. any of you guys watch ralley racing on speedvision? now there's some import performance. all wheel drive balls out all wheel slide. who wouldn't like that! not that i'm going to run out and buy an impreza (actually i would if i could afford one).

Have ya'll seen the commercial on TNN? Ya know, the one where they're talking about muscle cars? And they have that guy on there that was talking about 6 cyl and 8 cyl and he said, "Ya know, it's not like a 6 cyl where it goes, thpppppp....it goes rrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!" That's what I'm talking about! LMAO!!!! That commercial is hillarious!!! Anyone else seen it?

I saw that one, muddin! That is pretty darn funny, but true!

BTW, that Charger is a 71 or 72 and that blower on it is fake. Still a shame that they wrecked it. These darn movie companies should wreck as many of these plastic crap cars they want to, but leave the muscle alone! At least the Shelby in "Gone in 60 Seconds" was digitally destroyed and they didn't destroy a real car.

I was watching import drag racing on TV and there was a guy with a FWD crap-rocket with a wheelie bar on it! WTF? What a friggin idiot. I don't care how fast your little plastic rice-rocket is. It is still a crappy little plastic toy car that looks like a cheap cereal-box prize. You may outrun me, but when you stop, what is there to protect you when I run a ton and a half of American iron through your plastic?
