HAHA!!! Im sure the 4-banger with 35's really really rips with maximum torque. My friend has a 4-banger wrangler, and it has absolutely no power with 32's. Whenever he goes 4-wheeling, he has to use 4-low and 1st gear if he comes to any kind of noticeable incline. Those engines dont have anywhere near the power they need to turn tires bigger than stock. Even the 6-cyl ones dont really have a ton of power. Another friend of mine has a 6-cyl "4.0 high output" jeep cherokee with stock size tires. I raced him at a redlight in the K5 with 37's and by 50mph, I was at least 8 lengths in front of him. haha. Jeeps suck.

Of course the spacer and cold air system doubled the tourque. The stickers double the horsepower.

How cute. It's at 7100 bucks at the moment. With that much, I could buy my truck again and still have $6300 for upgrades....... even at $800, my truck is more capable.... except the gas thing anyway : LOL :

I really dont know why you guys are picking that jeep apart. It is pretty well built. No Bling. Good parts, Looks like a nice rock solid trail rig to me. Price aint out of line either.
No it aint no extreme rock crawler beast. But it is one hell of a better rig than a stock "Trail Rated" CJ with a lift kit.
With the price of gas These days, a 4 banger dont sound too bad.
And for those of you slammin that jeep who own a K5 with a little o'l lift open diffs, and 33s That Jeep would run circles around you off road
