anyone switched to a diesel engine in a later model \'Hoe?

Looking at getting out of the F*** minivan (yeah, a macho chick magnet, I know!!!) to a 'Hoe or 'Kon.

1. Would it be feasible to do this switch? I'll be doing alot of traveling in my new job, and could use the economy.

2. What engine might fit?

I know where a 2-door tahoe is with a 6.5L turbo diesel in it. The guy says it came stock that way too. I think it's for sale too.
