If the trail is not too difficult I would not mind coming down from Vegas to join you on your little treck but the truck is still stock and I do not want to beat it up too much yet. Let me know and I will try to make it.

Azblazer knows some trails to old mines and Ghost Towns. Any Ideas guys lets try and get one together. Maybe up the back way to Crown King

I think the back way to crown king would be the best as it isn't that bad at all and if we leave early enough...8am...we can stop at the old saloon in CC and have lunch and check out all the cool pre 1860 ish pictures they have on the wall...and wander around the remains of the Oro Belle on the way up. Then again Tip Top is just past the turn in to the Upper Terminator about 10 miles or so...plus there is more stuff further in from Tip Top. Guess we'll have to take a vote...lol.

Ah Ha....it sounds like you boys from the southwest are getting together to gang up on the rest of us huh....
actuallt it is a shame it is so far to drive I would love to come for a visit....but not like it is a weekend thing...at least from Ohio. Although I may be moving down to the dallas area...

Let me know when and where? My wife is about 4-6weeks away from delivering our second soon. So I got to stay within Cell/Pager range......Nice bike. And I like the Pre-runner look of your truck, it has a good stance.

Bill, get out your map...follow ole I-17 down towards phx...if you can find the rest stop at sunset point its about due west from the stop...way up yonder at about 6200 feet of elevation! You take the Bumble Bee exit and go down the hill and follow the trail up into the pines. Thats the easy way for cars and other 2wdrs...the fun way is to take Castle Hot Springs road behind Lake Pleasant up to CC....the BACK way as its called. Talked to a friend at work who just went up from Bumble Bee and got a wild hair to go the rest of the way into Prescott from the old Senator Highway...still snow on the ground...as soon as the rest of the repairs are done to the 79 hell or high water i'm headin for CC!!!! Got a bad case of work to much syndrome otherwise known as Cabin Fever!!!

Is that anywhere near Bullhead City/Laughlin?My dad lives down there and haven't made it down to see his place yet.Sounds like a good chance to kill 2 birds w/ 1 stone.

No Crown King is closer to Phoenix. Its a ways from Kingman. JMPD Thanks for the comments on the K5 and my bike.

What's the back way like? My '79 is stock. (for a little while longer...) I do have a part-time kit for the 203, and a LS in the rear.

BillR...didn't realize you have a 79 also!!! Well the trail isn't that bad but a lift would be nice for those nasty spots....however my 79 has LS's fore and aft with a big warn 10000k winch for any other problems...i think you can make it...what is your take on it Nate and Moose....that spot in front of the Oro Belle is kinda somethin....
