anyone have exp. with the klune-v underdrives? are they strong enoug hfor fullsizes? ballpark price range?

I spoke with one of the Tech's at, heck can't remember the company but This is what I told him.

I wanted to run a 454 with rockwells or dana 60's which ever I found first but I didn't want to have to worry about tearing things up. What does he thing would be a good bullet proof setup.

He answered with, A TH400 the Klune and a NP205 even with the 454 I would barly start to make this thing work. He said he could gear it anyway I wanted and they would help me choose the best way for me to go.

I was going to order the TH400, Klune and NP205 from him together.

Just FYI hehe

ouch, still cheaper then an atlas and you get dual cases...kinda..i'll have to think about it unless anyone knows where about you can get them cheaper.

on their website you can see all the vendors. A couple of places I priced were aroun $1700 but that was a year ago. I will eventually get one because you can get any splines in and out. It work as an adapter as well as the reduction box. I was looking at running a 700R4/ klune-v/ 10 spline 205. It's lighter then a 203/205 doubler, and smaller, with different ratios.

I sound like I'm dating the owner. :haha: Just wish I had the money right now.

I have seen one in a burb on 1 ton's and 37's that was wheeled pretty hard and it seemed to work very well. It is a good option for strength and reliability.
