Anyone use a TCI 700r4 trans or rebuild kit?

I used their (TCI) transcat full rebuild and shift kit along with their converter. Very pleased with it although, with the jet 2-3 and 3-4 accumultors it shifts a bit too harshly 1-2 for my liking.

Did you have some one rebuild it for you with the kit? What did they Charge?
The 350 I did myself but the 700 I let a shop do. They charged me £350 labour. To be honest, if I lived in the States I'd just buy a TCI trans complete. They're cheap and warrented. If you buy the parts yourself, the tranny shop prob won't warrent work as they'll blame it on 'your' parts. If the shop does it labour and parts, cheaper than a whole trans, make sure they've got a good rep.
