Edit: Found one, still hoping for some personal experience not speculation.

If there's a thread floating around in regards to this, please drop the link below... My searches were futile

I have a different CCLB C30 coming my way soon that I intend to convert to 4x4. No, I won't swap to a K30 frame and for a couple of reasons which I'll go into in an upcoming thread. What I'm looking for here is opinions on the following kit.
I have a decent grasp on the conversion process. Replace the engine cross member, use the B52s/A-BOMB/ORD's front hangers and FUSH on the rear, crossover steering, etc... The C30 I'm acquiring has a deep oil pan that will require 4-6 inches of lift to properly clear the front diff and allow suspension travel. This kit allows for 4.5" before spring, which allows me to use 2"-4" lift springs and get the height I'm looking for while using less arched springs.

Help me understand some of the downfalls of using this to accomplish the conversion?

b52 kit will be in the way of the front hanger if i am not mistaken since it has the spring hangers on it and your going hanger drop with this kit . so unless you got another idea i am not seeing then i dont know .

i do like the idea of the dropped shackle mount and re-enforcement plate they give you . i would prob make a few more and box in both sides of the frame in that area if they dont already .

I was referring to B52 as the alternative to this kit, wouldn’t try to use both. I agree with the reinforcement around the dropped shackle mount... the side to side torsion would worry me somewhat

also dont forget the 2wd front hanger for the rear springs is 3" shorter than a 4wd hanger is . so you will need to make up the extra 3" some way in the back over what ever you lift it total in the front .

Was planning on a 3” block for starters until I can replace the hangers with ORDs replacements or K30’s take-offs
