Anyone with a Front hitch and winch!???

Im about to buy a Tuff Stuff Water Proof 12k winch but I want to put it on a cradle that way I can put it front and back on my 1978 K5 and my Ram not to mention on my trailer when I pick up a friends broken Furd or yota lol

Anyone have info on a strong front hitch for the K5 What years fit?

Maybe anyone have one for sale? No rust

What did you pay for a new one?

Warn makes a front hitch for the 81-up trucks, their #25855, about $200 e.g.

Not aware of a premade one for the earlier years, so you'd be cutting and welding your own.

Are there bumpers out there that have the receivers part of them capable enough for winch use?

I found this thread just now Dont really have the access to all the fab tools but maybe enough to do this IDK. I do like how the hitch goes through the bumper.

Kert's a member here and very flexible about custom orders. I personally have only gotten smaller stuff from him but he's been a CK5 staple for some years, lots of guys have his stuff.
