FORMUD, gmc4cw, skyyk5, myself, and a bunch of my buds met up at Paragon yesterday to put our trucks through the paces.

gmc4cw had a slow start but got it going with a hammer...

Mmmm.....MUD! :D

Manny, you would have loved the playground. the water level was lower then usual leaving just the mud. the place I was stuck usually has 1-2 more feet of water.

What a day. I provided the entertainment from the get go. Showed up late on to realize I forgot the key to the trail rig. luckily I had a spare in my toolbag in the form of a 40 oz. deadblow hammer. couple of well placed smacks to the column and the lock was no longer a problem. now it has push to start.

forgot to tighten a bolt holding a exhaust hanger, couple of zip ties and we were moving again.

also forgot to put the pin back that holds the 4wd shifter linkage in the lever on the t-case. peice of wire and off we went.

developed a pin hole in the rad, pour in some stop leak and continue down the trail.

at one point the hood wouldn't close, even after me jumping up and down on it.:doah: I see hood pins in its future.

over pressurized the steering box and most likely blew a seal internally. its really difficult to steer now.

At least the rain held off till it was time to leave. Somebody pick a date and I'll be ready to go again.

I like the way this man thinks..... Let's do it (although I could only come along for a weekend planned in advance).

One small problem fellas, They just got closed down again.
They are going to court next week to try and be open for next weekend.
I hope they get their new place up and running soon!

its infuriating to say the least. if they get a new place, YOU and I will be the first ones there cutting trails.
