ARB for 14bff

I called Drivetrain Direct about the 14BFF spool back in May 2003 and was told that the spool was offered in the ad but was never offered for sale. He says the advertising department put the picture out before the testing was done. Someone has mentioned that Randy's is offering a 14BFF spool, but I haven't called them.

We just (added metal and) welded the "living crap" out of a 14BFF gov loc to make a spool.

I had a Dana 70 out of a 1970 Dodge for a while. It bolted in. It did not have any shock mounts though. Which can be good in that I did not have to cut any off.

The only full spool that I have been able to locate was made by Sandy Cone but it is for a 40-spline axle and not for stock axles. Randy's Ring and Pinion, Ouverson Engineering in Milaca, MN and Drivetrain Direct in Corona, CA are all advertising Mini Spools, but don't have them actually available at this time. They all say they will be available soon. So as of right now there are essentially no spools available.

the mag "off road adventures"(from 4 wheel parts i think?) has an arb locker for a 'gm 14blt 10.5" for 755.99'(page 49)...isnt that what u were looking for? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I got this off a thread in here last week. http://killeraxles.com/html/application_price.html Not an ARB, but it would at least be a selectable locker for the 14B FF. Reading the info on the site, which is short on detail, it looks like this thing can be ordered either air or electric solenoid operated and either has a mechanical override feature. But, just like the ARB model, this one is "coming soon".

4WPW has had a listing for a 14FF ARB for a while. It isn't real though. I calles them before I put my detroit in and they told me it was actually the 9.5 14SF
