Does the arb bleed air all the time or just when releasing the lock. I'm wondering if its ok to run a air tank to it and not an air compresser.

It should only bleed air when it releases. Air tanks are quite common when running an ARB. Are you going to run a CO2 system? I use the ARB compressor, there is a minimum psi that is required to activate the ARB but I can't remember off the top of my head what it is.......it is a small amount though:o

well i can't help you with the ARB. but where are you at in detroit? i'm at vanborn and beechdaly in dearborn heights.i think i've seen your truck.:D

if you dont have any air leaks it wont leak.doesnt take much air either. you could probly lock/unlock it all day long w/ a 5 gallon tank @100+psi.

It needs very little CFM too. You could probably get away with a 12V plug in $20 emergency pump and a 2 gal tank.

cool, lets try and hook up.if you want.it's cool to meet members, plus we have been going to the MOUNDS. i went the first time and now my truck is running so i'll be taking it instead of the DD. PM me if you want to meet.:) daryl

Ryan B runs his front ARB with an air tank. PM the man himself he'll let you know how it does. If wheeled with him before doesn't look to have a problem at all. :D
