So I notice a decent amount of oil leaking out of my solenoid. When I check the locker operation, the compressor powers on and shuts off. This seems to say that pressure is building up correctly and there isn't an air leak. But I don't hear the solenoid make any noise when it turns on and I don't think the locker is actually engaging (tried turns sharply in pavement to see if I could hear the normal "chirps" of the tires.

It's almost like the axle is pushing gear lube up the blue air line? Would replacing the O-rings on the locker fix it or is there another issue?

Typically if the locker O-rings are bad you pressurize the dif and can blow oil out of the dif vent. Like I said Typically.

IF? your axle vent was plugged and the ARB O-rings were bad I guess it could push oil up the air line but I honestly can't see that getting all the way up to the solenoid.

I've never heard an ARB solenoid myself so I wouldn't say just because you can't hear it doesn't mean it isn't working. I would jack the front tires up and see if it locks that way, if it doesn't then figure why it isn't.

I have never had an issue with the air side of the ARB system, it's always been on the electrical side that I've seen problems. Hence the reason places like power tank sell air switches for the ARB. Hint Hint.

you can remove the outlet hose and actuate the silonoide to see if it is working properly if it is and still no lock then your o rings are probably bad and not alowing a seal to acuate the locker

Took the air line off and confirmed it looks filled with gear oil. My vent doesn't appear to be clogged, but since I probably need to replace the orings in the ARB, I will check the fitting in the housing to make sure when I open it up.

Also checked the solenoid. It works fine after disconnecting the air line. I'm guessing it was clogged with oil, or the oil in the line is preventing the locker from actuating. Not feeling like pulling the diff out on this thing.

Mine did the same thing within a few trips after installing my front ARB. I just figured every once in a while a little oil gets by the seals and pushes up the line. It hasn't made it up to the solenoid yet (that I can tell).
Honestly it doesn't seem to affect much of anything. Mine still engages and disengages perfectly fine even with a little oil in the line.
