I’ve been looking to replace my well loved grill, it’s the 2x5 panel that appears to be a one or two year only option. @kennyw showed me what engineered vintage is making, and while they’re amazing, The rig is gonna be a wheeler so I really don’t want to spend $1800 on a grille for a rig that’s gonna get beat on.. It looks like I could go with a more popular option from a different year, but I’d like to keep it somewhat original looking, and I’m not interested in billet grilles.. Does anyone know where I can find one of these? I’ve scoured the web and I can’t find anyone remaking this style of grille, and there’s nothing on eBay..

Used, original GMC grills will bring $200-750 depending on how nice they are. They are very difficult to find in good shape as well.

There's another one for $60 in Modesto, CA. Little too far for me otherwise I would grab it for ya.

I appreciate the offer! Yeah without Facebook I’m not sure how I would get ahold them.. it’s a low priority at this point, just thought I would order one up and was surprised how hard this particular grille is to find..

GMC grills are harder to find. I've been looking for a 1983-1984 GMC grill forever. Nobody reproduces the 83-84

Ok, I gotta “what would you do”.. the other day I saw a beat up 1980 gmc c10 sitting under a tree, looked to have been there a while. Grille looked good from across the lot, but of course hard to see exact conditions without getting close. The lot is probably a couple acres, and the truck is down at one end, the house on the lot is a run down single wide mobile home with trash and junk cars surrounding it. Hopefully you get the idea..
Part of me thinks I should knock on their door and ask about the truck and see if they’re willing to sell the grille, assuming it’s in good condition.. but the other part of me isn’t so sure that’s a great idea.. I wouldn’t attempt to get a closer look without making contact either, except maybe a pair of binoculars from the street

I think I have the grill from my old 1980 K25 floating around somewhere. I haven't seen it in a while, it may be at my folk's place. I think it may have had a crack or two or maybe a couple missing fins. If I can find it next time I go up to their place in a couple months you can have it for the cost of the ride down.

Sold one last year for 250 Canadian
It was near mint. It was hanging on my shop wall for years. Didn’t want to sell it but the tuck it was going on was so nice I thought it would be a better fit on it than my wall.

Pic of the grill I sold and the truck it went on.

I was up to my folks place this weekend and didn't see it anywhere. I'll have one more look around my place tomorrow, but I'm thinking I must have sold it.

That would work, it doesn’t look like the inserts can be taken out right? Like to replace the sections of broken fins?

What year is that grill. I need a Chevy grill and this one is only on there to fill the spot. Not perfect, all screw holes are there a few fins missing
