A little while ago some one mentioned a vehicle with a spray-in interior burning. I need to know if Herculiner will burn or melt after it's cured? I'm have a new tub put on my k5 next week and before it's done I want to coat the firewall and underside with Herculiner. I'm concerned about the Herculiner being so close to the engine though, I don't want it to melt or ignite (that would probably be bad). I'm going to test a sample with a torch tomorrow but I figured I'd ask anyway. If it does have problems with heat, I'll just use paint. Two weeks from now I'll have an 88 Jimmy with a 91 tub and NEW fenders and tailgate on it, I can't wait! Now I just have to figure out what color to paint it... What goes with a red interior besides white and black? Too many decisions, not enough money.

Red on red would be sharp! You could also 2 tone red and white, or black red etc. Silver with red interior don't look bad either. Not sure about the bedliner.

Right now my truck is black and red. I was hoping that the new tub would be black too but I wasn't that lucky.

Herculiner's website said that its no longer flammable once it has cured.
