Are my 90 GM 10 bolts 8.5" ?

I know in 88 they changed from 28 spline to 30 spline, but did they st
ay 8.5" ?

Its still an 8.5 . Cars and s-10's got smaller 10 bolts often , but never the full sizes .

You might want to confirm what spline axles you have. I believe that the 10 bolts didn't get 30 spline shafts until 89, not 88. But, it may be possible that some sneaked in ..

Yeah, some 30s sneaked in in '88. They didn't go to 8.6" until 99 for the Silverado. The 8.2 was mostly in the 70's on cars.

But as far as I understand the R&P is still the same and the carriers can be made to fit the older stuff with different bearings.

Same with the 7.5/7.6" axles (in s10's).
