Are springs from a 95-99ish Suburban stiffer then a similar age Tahoe or Yukon? I have noticed that when I hook up similar loads to either, my Yukon squats more then my parents Sub'. Just curious.

Fatter ass = heavier rated springs.
Nice way of putting it:haha:

Anyone ever swap springs from a Sub onto a Tahoe? How's the ride compared to the softer springs? I'm considering the swap because I don't like the sag (it's noticeable if I have 4 people and gear) and am possibly going to be towing in the future.

BTW AJM, my torsion bar crank has been trouble free, guess I got lucky.

Well, guess you're luckier than I was. Nothing but a nightmare with mine.

Friend of mine swapped 2500LD springs under his half ton with good results. I'd imagine the Suburban to Tahoo spring swap would be similar. They're all the same springs anyways, trucks, SUV's, etc. One of your RPO codes should tell you which springs you have.
www.Car-Part.com probably has the RPO's listed for the different spring options each vehicle has.

Now the question is: How much heavier is a Suburban over a Tahoe?

I'd really rather do airbags instead of heavier spring to solve the "soggy-bottom" issue, but price is the main factor.:doah:

Ermmmm...Edmunds.com used to have GVWR's and such listed on their website when you looked at the used vehicle reviews.
