I keep trying to fnd interior parts to my newly purchased 1988 k5 but it only goes to 1987??? I am so confused on this ??? any help much appreciated.

yes, you can even go up to 91 as well. A few minor changes from 89-91 in radio, instrument bezel, power side mirrors....but that's about it.

GM made a change to the pickup lineup in 1988 (IFS) but the Blazer and Suburban didn't change until 92. That's why you see quite a few "cut-off" lines at 1987.

Thee 88-91 blazers are called a V10 versus a K5. like stated by others virtually the same but if looking up parts its called the V10 Blazer.

The R/V series actually starts in 1987, one year before the introduction of the IFS trucks.

A lot of times you will see parts listed like this: "1973-'87('91)".

I hate the fact that mine is an 89'. It is classified as a V series and nearly everytime I go in a parts store and say V10 blazer I get the "what do you mean by V10? Like engine size?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? :doah:
