are the th400 and sm465 equal in strength?

all driving/wheeling preferences aside...

lets say both were rebuilt/new condition. are both equal in strength and capible of the same work duty?

Same strength? Maybe, the aluminum case on the TH400 can break, other than that failures with either are super rare.

Reliability wise, the 465 is WAY ahead. TH400's are stout but they're still an auto and they don't last forever.
